Ruth Bader Ginsburg was an American lawyer and jurist who served as an associate justice of the Supreme Court of the United States from 1993 until her death in September 2020. She was nominated by President Bill Clinton, replacing retiring justice Byron White, and at the time was generally viewed as a moderate consensus-builder. She eventually became part of the liberal wing of the Court as the Court shifted to the right over time. Ginsburg was the first Jewish woman and the second woman to serve on the Court, after Sandra Day O'Connor.  This wheel thrown mug is made of earthenware clay and glazed with a glossy white glaze. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is featured as a decal and fired on, permanently affixed in the glaze. You will receive a piece similar, but perhaps not identical, to the one pictured. 

CDC Director Rochelle Walensky mug.  This wheel thrown mug is made of earthenware clay and glazed with a glossy white glaze. The Director is featured as a decal and fired on, permanently affixed in the glaze. She is surrounded by floral decals. This mug is microwave and dishwasher safe. It is approximately 4" tall. Our sweet app tray is a special way to switch up your serving ware, being more quirky and cute. This tray is something you’ll want to show off, and is made to be used. We love the versatile flat surface because it makes a great cake platter, or an excellent spot for appetizers and other deserts, or any little snack. Like all of Jills pottery, the app tray is handmade in her Boston studio. Everything from the making, the drawing and the painting is done here, by her team of local artisans. When everything is finished, we like to add an extra bit of sparkle, in the form of a sparkling gold rim.

All our pottery is made to order—handcrafted on a potter's wheel then drawn and painted by our skilled artisans. We use a creamy white earthenware that provides a smooth white canvas for our colorful patterns. Each piece is finished with a coat of glossy clear glaze. The final touch is a 14k gold painted rim.
